Definition of Supervisor
Pursuant to Article 16 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, it refers to the head of a department who directly directs and supervises production-related work and affiliated employees in the management organization, or a person in charge of such a position.
(Department Head, Team Leader, Manager, Foreman, Site Manager, etc.)
Such supervisors must perform safety and health-related duties related to the relevant duties of the workplace, and in particular, for work requiring danger prevention, the supervisor of the work concerned must be designated as a safety manager to perform safety duties.
